This past week, the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the South Walton Tourism Development Council and discussed the future of South Walton growth in relation to tourism, hospitality and Real Estate. TDC Executive Director Jim Bagby was happy to report a consistent increase in bed tax numbers for the area. He also highlighted that Walton County is the 10th highest in bed tax collections in the state of Florida, which is great news for commerce.
