On the list for topic of discussion at this morning's Beach Care Services Board Meeting was the money raised for the 10th Annual Duck Race held in September 2016. While donation checks are still pouring in, Beach Care Services's members were able to tally about $25,000 thus far. We kicked off the night with dinner and cocktails served up by Spinnaker then guests made their rounds to the silent auction and raffle prize tables where they were able to enter for some spectacular prizes. We've heard the old Southern expression when someone asks if you're going to an upcoming gathering and one may reply, "Yes, God willing and the creek don't rise." Ahhhh enough to make you dream that the next time would be even better. So to take this a step further, the focusing on that one good shot just made you want to try again and again. If any of you know golf you know that the good shots are far and few between but the memory of the good...
