Beachy Beach is proud to be a co-sponsor of the
Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration Brunch of
Jeanette Deatherage. Being held October 18, 2016 at
Plantation at College Point from 8am to 10am. Jeanette is celebrating her joining of the
Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce as well as 32 years of business as an independent Mary Kay sales director. Jeanette has decided to give back to the community by donating all proceeds to the Food4Kidz organization.
Food4Kidz is a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding hungry children in our area. According to the organization's records, 25% of Bay County District School students enrolled live in a "food insecure" household. This equates to 8,000 children who are chronically hungry.
"These are the children of our future generation, and they are in danger of repeating the cycle of poverty and lack they find themselves in. With proper nutrition, they have a real chance to thrive academically, socially, and economically. They will have an opportunity to grow up healthy and strong and become contributing, crime-free, successful adults." says President and Executive Director, Richard Brigman.
Food4Kidz dedicates their time to feeding families, allowing them to focus on paying other essential expenses such as rent and utilities. Each family receives approximately about 125-150 pounds of food at a time. On average, Food4Kidz reaches more than 240 families monthly. That equates to more than 2,880 families yearly.
So please join us on October 18th at 8am to help celebrate Jeanette Deatherage joining the Panama City Beach Chamber and this special organization, Food4Kidz.
