Beachy Beach September Love Note
(Originally published September 23, 2014)
Waves of significance, waves of light, waves of joy, waves of hope, beautiful waves of all things holy and wonderful. Thinking of how far God has allowed me to come in this life and the people that have been such cheerleaders along the way. The older I get the more my Reverse Paranoia grows.... every corner I turn there is someone there to love and to help me.
Tonight as I have pondered over what to share with you I happened upon one of the first books I read as a really young person to keep my enthusiasm fueled..... a Norman Vincent Peale Book. It is so special to me because in those times in my life that more light was needed I would turn the pages of his books and with each word, each page I was renewed and it still works today!!!
In his book, The Positive Principle today he talks about how important it is to be Excited about what you are doing and in so doing you spread that excitement to others. THINK EXCITEMENT, TALK EXCITEMENT, ACT OUT EXCITEMENT AND YOU ARE BOUND TO BECOME AN EXCITING PERSON. The funny but true thing is that keeping an exciting and enthusiastic spirit is a sure fire way to have a job that you are excited about, friends that you are excited about, a day that you are excited about and so on.......
You have a choice you can think or talk your way into dullness or dissatisfaction or you can rally your heart and spirit and build up inspiration, motivation and thus enthusiasm. This becomes easiest when you hang with people that practice this enthusiasm factor!!! Go ahead and try it and wake up and say WOW what a great day this is going to be. Wow I know there are people out there that are just waiting to share their joy with me. Wow I know that I am going to develop the most severe case EVER of Reverse Paranoia. That knowledge that everyone is out to help me!!!
Every corner I turn someone out there wants to make life bright and better for me so I can turn around and do the same. I pray that your day is filled with great waves of significance!!!
Super excited to see all of you tomorrow. What a GREAT one it will be.
Filled with joy,
Karen
