Beachy Beach Real Estate and Cerulean Interiors teamed up with Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach for the 3rd Annual Celebrate the Arts charity event last month, making it the biggest turn-out yet.
The event was held at the
Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach on Saturday, January 25, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Features included a local artists market, raffle prizes, a wine and cheese tasting, a celebrity lunch auction, and a
newly added live celebrity fashion show thanks to Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach.
Celebrate the Arts supports local artists in the area and 100% of the proceeds benefit Beach Care Services, a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance with food, clothing, prescriptions, transportation, and a variety of other requests to those of the beach community in need.
Beachy Beach Broker Karen Smith and Cerulean Interiors Owner
Roy Eure are both very passionate supporters of the community and organized the first Celebrate the Arts Event three years ago. Roy Eure, an artist himself, has helped the local artists market evolve from just 8 artists in the first year to over 30 this year.
Events like these where locals come together touch Broker Karen Smith's heart, as years ago, when she was raising her children, she was on the receiving end of charities like Beach Care Services and personally knows the difference they can make in a person's life.
Karen is now the Vice President of Beach Care Services and looks forward to helping them with their mission with the help of other local businesses like Cerulean Interiors and Harley Davidson.
Beachy Beach is proud to announce that, with the help of everyone, January's event raised $10,000 for Beach Care Services. This record breaking amount would not have been possible without the support of Harley Davidson and their fabulous marketing director Marta Rosa who simply made magic happen. The celebrity fashion show and auction she organized was largely responsible for the additional funds raised this year.
The stars of Island 106's The Miguel Show alone helped Beach Care Services collect $1,100 in just a matter of minutes! Paris Janos from WJHG kept things moving with his special brand of enthusiasm as other well known locals such as Don Arias, Gayle Oberst, and Panama City Beach Chamber President Lance Allison took the stage.
Beachy Beach is thrilled to have been a part of this event once again and looks forward to helping Beach Care Services continue their mission of
"locals helping locals."
