Beachy Beach December Love Note
(Originally published December 18, 2013)
Dear BB's,
I love love love this time of year but not especially because of Christmas but because we ring out the old and REJOICE in the new. I love to be able to write my goals down and reflect on all the GREAT things that happened over the year. (Celebrating the nerd in me) I also have to glance at the things that I did not quite complete.
One thing that remains steadfastly true is this….. If I concentrate on the good then I get more of it and if I God forbid do the other then that is also true. I love the verse in the bible that says…"Think on whatever is true and holy, things that are just etc. Of course I am only skimming the surface of it but you know the point. THINK AND TALK ABOUT WHAT IS GOOD!!!!!!
I have always kept a book of Goals and affirmations and it is so rewarding to look back as they come true. The funny thing about writing goals down is that sometimes just the act of putting it out there as a thought into the giving universe is just what you need. It sets the world in motion, God in motion and life loves to give great gifts. Somehow just the positive thought in motion attracts all the good people and things unto you. You are like a big beautiful magnet for GOOD!!!!
I have also learned that our minds are lovely things if we focus on the good that we can do in our part of the world. I decided long ago if I woke up and asked God to help me be of service then all other things would fall into place. I do not have to worry, I do not have to fret and I certainly do not have to compete. All that is required of me is to offer myself in service to my God, my family, my business and my community. If that is my goal then I will have Success every day and just like money saved it will be compounded and all that I come in contact will be better off and richer in mind and spirit.
As this year ends I can not thank you all enough for the GREAT JOY that you bring me. I love sharing my life with you. I have the sweetest agents, the sweetest family, the most precious people in my life. Every corner I turn there is someone lovely and wanting to bring me more joy in someway…. it is hard to contain it.
Lacey shared a thought that she had about Christmas and the simple joyful things that she encountered as she went through her day. She shared, "I've found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay, small acts of kindness, and love."
So set your goals real high this next year but make it about being of service and just let me know how hard it is to contain all the good that comes your way. It will be pressed down and overflowing.
I love you with all my heart!!!!!
Karen
