I just love Thanksgiving, It is actually my favorite Holiday. Being grateful became my way of life at a very early age and not sure if it was more nurture than nature but for whatever reason it is my greatest talent, okay I will be honest it is my ONLY talent and it has served me well. Being grateful has allowed me to .......
have joy in most all situations and I guess with the current market conditions I will have lots of opportunities to hone my skills further.
My daughter and grandson and one of my dearest friends in the whole world came to spend Thanksgiving with us and I did my once a year cooking with a little help from a really really good friend. Thanks Kay!!!!!
At the top of my list of course is my faith in God and the opportunity to know God and have Him to be grateful to for all my blessings. For some magical reason the more that I am grateful for the more that shows up in my life!!!!! That is never more true than in times when the outward world looks a little frightening.
My family is so very important to me and each of them have talents and gifts that they are sharing and discovering by trial and error (seems to be the only way for those with the creative bent). I am more than blessed to have a husband who loves me just as I am, a little goofy, sometimes flighty and always filled with ridiculous enthusiasm and a bucket of energy.
I love my job or better yet carreer in Real Estate. It gives me the greatest opportunity to meet the most incredible people (you know who you are) as well as have the freedom to build a business based on my principles to live by. I used to think I had to have a serving career to really make a difference in the world but now I know that we make a difference each and every day no matter what job we choose. My quest is to add value to each customer, each person, in every moment of my day. With God's help and lots of grace I intend to continue to do that.
I Want to share some of our moments from my little Thanksgiving. Abscent and very much missed are Warren, Paul, Scotty and Sheldon but we will catch you Christmas. Of course the first day here we went to the beach and the heated pool in our new community Carillon Beach. When we got tired of eating Turkey we high tailed it to Buffalo Wild Wings at Pier Park. So indulge me and check out our photos and say.... oh how sweet.
But, before I go let me encourage you to find someone out there that could use a little lift, a little dose of encouragement because now more than ever is a time when we all need to hold on to our boot straps and be ever so grateful to all the things of lasting value!!! I bet you will find that your cup overflows. If you are a friend reading this, Thanks for your kindness and encouragement and your joy!!! Ain't it fun to be thankful.
What a gift, sunset from my new balcony at Carillon
My cute little Pilgrim and the kindest man I know
Thanksgiving day was a day at the beach
Okay now we are full and can start our diet, post Buffalo Wild Wings
