As a Realtor I get questions all the time, "When is the market going to turn around?????" The truth is that is a lengthly answer and one that is quite painful for most to hear. Time just takes time. To answer these questions about our particular community The News Herald is doing a 3 part series answering some of those questions. Please go to
http://www.newsherald.com/ and read "A Perfect Storm" and see what you think.
Simply put we have way too much inventory, however if you are a buyer that is a really good thing. It is our hope that soon people will realize what a great opportunity it is to buy with so much to choose from. I watch the MLS hot sheet each day and it is no surprise that the houses that are moving are the ones that are priced at rock bottom. As you will see in the News Heralds articles veteran Realtors have never seen a market such as this.
The Solution: Time and patience are the order of the day. Take this time to reach out and help others, be grateful for what you have and reach into your heart and fighting spirit and do what you can do. Most of you know my motto and I think it is a good time to live by it......." The only people we have to get even with are those that have helped us" It is a great time to work on that "get even" list. No amount of whining and complaining will change the market but we can change the way we react to it. There is always something positive out there that we can do to change our part of the world for the better.
Our little group has several properties that we think that are below rock bottom. Please visit our web site and give us a call and we could love to help you. Enjoy your day and spend time concentrating on the good stuff. We live in a beautiful place surrounding by breath taking nature and even better, the sweetest people on the planet.
Happy joyful day to you and here is a thought to help you start your day.
"Life is the game of boomerangs. Our thought, words and deeds return to us--sooner or later--with astounding accuracy."
