Hey there all of you beach folks. I have always been a beach girl so it is fitting that I am now with a little company called “BEACHY BEACH”. It works so well for me. Nestled on my little pottery barn library table is my grandmothers funky orange beach hat. The west end of the beach has been my peaceful respite since the beginning of all memories for me. I have always loved the smell of Coppertone and the feel of sand in my toes. My family would spend all day on the beach and go wash up at Wayside park & then make the trek back to Enterprise to return again the next weekend. We eventually built a beach house making it easier for us to stay here all the time.
I have tons of memories from Pettycoat Junction, Miracle Strip, goofy golf and especially the Hangout where Pier Park now stands. Many of those landmarks have gone by the wayside but the beach is still the most beautiful beach in the United States. Everytime I run or walk on the beach I am so filled with gratitude that I have the good grace to get to live here. In the 25 years that this has been my home I have never taken it for granted.
Please call me if you need any information about beach properties or you just want to share an early beach memory before all the condos showed up. Be looking for old beach pictures. I am going to get brave and put even my goofy looking ones.
God bless your day and please find someone to be sweet to today!!!!
