Meet Andrew Phillips

Andrew Phillips has over 30 years of experience in the hotel, resort, condominium, association management and property management industry. He was President and Managing Partner of Counts Oakes Resort Properties for 10 years until the company was sold in 2018.Prior to heading up Counts Oakes Resort Properties, Phillips was General Manager for the Resort Collection of Panama City Beach for ten years. He also worked with Marriott Hotels and Resorts and Interstate Hotels Corporation from 1985 until 1998 managing several prestigious resorts and flagship hotels including the 1600 room Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles and Marriott’s Reach Resort in Key West, now part of the Waldorf Astoria Collection of hotels and resorts. Andrew is the past Chairman and current board member of the Bay County Tourist Development Council and Panama City Beach Convention and Visitor Bureau. He has served as chairman of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce and Bay County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee. He has served on the board of directors for the Florida State University Panama City Campus Foundation Board in addition to serving on the board on directors for the Greater Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. He was an Executive Committee Member for Coastal Vision 3000. CV 3000 was a membership organization that was established to promote tourism across a five county region in Northwest Florida. He is a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Hospitality Management in 1985.
