Lauren Beninate – A Proven Leader in Real Estate

Lauren’s real estate journey began in 2012, and she hasn’t looked back since! A Columbus, GA native and Columbus State University graduate, she turned her passion for helping others into a thriving full-time career. Holding active licenses in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, she seamlessly serves clients across state lines.

In 2019, Lauren married her best friend, Nick, and made the exciting move to Panama City, FL, where she quickly became a trusted name in beachside real estate. An industry leader, Lauren actively contributes to the real estate community—she chaired the Columbus Board of REALTORS® YPN in 2018, was named 2020 Rookie of the Year at Beachy Beach Real Estate and served as the 2024 President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Central Panhandle Network.

Nick Beninate – The Legal Mind Behind the Market

After a successful 16-year career as a partner in the area’s largest law firm, Nick traded legal briefs for beachfront listings, teaming up with Lauren full-time in real estate. His extensive background in law and environmental regulation gives him a unique edge in navigating the complexities of buying and selling property.

Nick’s expertise runs deep—he’s served as City Attorney for Mexico Beach, General Counsel for Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, and an advisor to major developers and municipalities. With firsthand experience in real estate closings, contracts, and negotiations, he ensures every transaction is seamless and secure.

A history buff and architecture enthusiast, Nick designed the couple’s custom colonial-Virginia-meets-Louisiana-plantation-inspired home from the ground up. A University of Virginia graduate with a double major in Biology and Environmental Science, he later earned his law degree from the University of Florida. (Go Gators! )

Beyond real estate, Nick has spent years shaping the local community—serving over five years on the Panama City Downtown Improvement Board (most of it as Chairman) and working with local chambers of commerce. His latest hobby? Electric cars! But if you want to talk coral reefs, tropical islands, English bulldogs, or gourmet cooking, he’s all in.
